Weekend of rock...

What a dope weekend of rock.. We had the pleasure of playing with some mindblowing bands.. Company Of Thieves, Wakey! Wakey! and I'm From Barcelona... What a treat!!! Each brought it so hard in their own way.. Wow.. I'm From Barcelona, an explosion of confetti and serotonin.. 17 people strong.. painted the walls of my head neon.. it was ecstasy.. And Company Of Thieves.. my blood pressure soared and my skin felt too tight.. had to move. Had to rock! Incredible!!!
And Wakey! pulling my heart apart and making my head resonate with that VOICE!!
All the nicest ever as well..
I highly recommend catching them asap. I know I'm going to see Barcelona when they play at The Masonic Temple next weekend.. I'm going to put up some photos that can only approximate it all..

Wow!
Big room! Boomy sound!! MSG was a blast! Bringing everyone back into the greenroom and drinking all of their beer and then whooping it up across the street at the yuppie bar! Priceless!! Burly, surly union guys! Not being allowed to unload your own gear! Amazing! Hanging out in an empty MSG with an all access laminate all day.. Dope! Seeing ourselves on the Jumbotron.. dumbfounding!!! Though it was brief, our experience playing The Garden was nothing short of freakin awesome...

Now really looking forward to playing w/ I'm From Barcelona, and The Canal Room next Thurs!

What's happened since we last talked? Gosh...
We're excited to announce that we signed a deal with Engine Room Recordings!
BQEP our newest record will be available on iTunes on April 8th!
There will be an advanced purchase option as a featured artitst on Amie Street starting April 3rd! And there will be a physical release at the beginning of May!
In other news there are a couple of really exciting shows coming up!
We are playing w/ Bell and Pocketknife this Friday at the Delancey.
We're also playing in the main room of Madison Square Garden at the NY Titans halftime show on April 12th!!!
There will be special ticket rates for Bloodsugars fans.. something like half off.. w/ a bracelet that will be good for crazy drink specials at the after party! Details to follow!!!
We are in the process of amassing tons of content for The Bloodsugars video channel! Streamed into the site via our friends at Dailymotion... It will be accompanied by our new video which is in the final stages of production and will be released within a few weeks..
